I guess I am going to have to start shooting Kodak in the near
future, I usually get the 24 rolls. I guess I could shoot the slide
film.

Interesting. Haven't had time yet to read the linked material.

So, does anyone know (or have an educated guess about) what the
proportion of the dropped films are to Fuji's overall line?

You were wrong, and I'm man enough to admit it.

Commented at length in APUG, check their thread.
Not news at all.
And there is a lot more to it than just that.
Basically, the 160 "drop" is just a brand rename.

I sold my 5400 at a great price to a grateful buyer who raved over how
great it was. I thought it was very good myself. Still do.

I thought it was reasonably fast. That depended on ICE being connected
by Firewire to a pretty fast computer, however (2.8 GHz dual core, for
example).

What the fuck is your point, Bret? You go out of your way to cross post
your snotty remarks to a medium format newsgroup. Why? Just to remind
us all that you're a hopeless attention whore and all around prick?
Believe me, we already knew, and won't likely forget anytime soon!

A little too much beer on the brain there Joe?

This thread is a month old. Bret posted from rpe.35mm (restored) as
this thread was OP'd to both film NG's.

Actually turned out to be a lot less damage than initially claimed.
Only one or two lines were removed. The rest is just fujifilm UK
changing their distribution.

But don't let the "film is dead" brigade know this: they'll go into
paroxisms of why it is for them. As if anyone cared...
