I see this leaking darkslide fix is another diy, to be accomplished
with flocking. Question is what's the best source & how thick should
the paper be?

You can find light-trap flocking material at Micro-Tools Europe:
<http://www.micro-tools.com/merchant2/e_restore.htm>
as well as replacement leather etc. They sell it in several thicknesses.
I don't know which is correct for Kievs.

If your into trying to work on these, you might check out

I think it depends on if they are NT or the older version.
